Photo taken in Wellington, New Zealand. This lock on the railing of a bridge really stood out to me. The size was one thing, but the amount of rust and the texture really spoke to me for some reason. I was compelled to compose this photograph and take it. The processing applied to this image was an artistic take to really bring out the colour and feeling of the rustiness. Another one of my photographs that have a special place in my collection with this one going on to be the desktop wallpaper on my laptop.
Locked away for eternity
