Photo taken at Pico de Loro, Nasugbu, Batangas, Philippines during late February 2020. While strolling along the beach at this lovely, secluded resort, I came across this solitary leaf surrounded by spongy appearing rocks. I could immediately visualise the composition and feel I wanted to capture in my photograph. A bit of shuffling and balancing, and a hit of the shutter button – this was the resulting image. Precisely what I wanted to capture and one of the photos that is among my personal favourites.
